GREEN
SCHOOL PROGRAMME & GSP AUDIT 2018
Kendriya vidyalaya Hebbal undertaken the green
school project under the incharge of MRS S Geetha (PGT BIOLOGY) with audit
group of 12 students. KV Hebbal received the top most award of green vidyalaya 2016
by Centre of Science and Environment- New Delhi.

Green school project was three months project
started from July to Aug 2018. Schools has completed the project and submitted
the following data in online. This project was focused on Water and Sanitation
+ Solid Waste Management.
The following activities conducted under this
project in our vidyalaya:
1. How to
conserve energy, use of ecofriendly vehicles, solar panel usage ,food audit,
health & hygiene, segregation of different types of wastes , recycle &
reuses of solid wastes, preparation of biofertizisers , green manures, vermicompost
,land audit, green landscaped areas, survey of native and exotic varieties of
plants in school campus, data collection of medicinal , herbal , ornamental ,
flowering and non-flowering plants,
learn to
conserve water responsibly , rain water harvesting, drip irrigation, reuse of
water and pollution free zone.
